Due to increased demand during this time, we strongly recommend booking your stay well in advance.
Budget Options in Roskilde (Near the University)
Staying in Roskilde offers the convenience of easy access to the campus, less commuting, and a quieter setting.
- Zleep Hotel Roskilde: Centrally located in Roskilde, ~15 minutes by bus or 10 minutes by train to RU:
- Danhostel Roskilde: Hostel-style accommodation near the Viking Ship Museum and Roskilde Fjord.
- Scandic Roskilde Park: A more comfortable option near Roskilde Ring Park.
Budget Options in Copenhagen (with Train Access to RUC)
If you prefer staying in Copenhagen to enjoy the capital’s cultural and dining scene, there are many budget-friendly hotels and hostels within walking distance of København H (Central Station) and quick train access to Roskilde University via Trekroner Station (approx. 25–35 minutes travel time).
